5.7 north of Greenville any dopers up in Plumas County?
We felt it…sitting on the couch watching the Sharks game, it was strong enough to shake the furniture…
We felt it in Natomas. I grew up in the Bay Area, but haven’t felt an earthquake since we moved from there in '84.
My first thought on feeling a quake here was The Big One in the Bay Area. Glad to learn it was in the mountains, and doesn’t seem to have done much damage.
The wife and I felt it. She started getting dizzy and I was confused as to why my computer chair was moving. It was her first earthquake (she’s not from around here).
I thought about the Bay Area, too. But I’ve never felt a Bay Area earthquake here in Sac before.
Nope, didn’t feel a thing. I’m further south in the Lodi area. I saw reports on the news that some folks in Stockton claimed to feel it, though. Hmmmm…
I felt it in Berkeley, one brief rumble.
My apartment building shakes every time any of the tenants downstairs inhales or exhales. So I might have felt it and never realized it. (Modesto.)
OTOH, I felt the Loma Prieta Quake (1989) all the way down near Paso Robles, where I was living at the time.
