i did see a fellow wearing waders in the monument earlier. perhaps he is part of the palace pool boys.
That one was pretty funny. A lot of them seem to be worn right on the top of the head, and sit sort of down over the forehead.

I did not watch the wedding but reading all of you all’s (why yes I am from the American south. why do you ask?) posts has made it seem as if I were there. 
According to a news article with information from a lipreader, Prince William said, “We were supposed to have a small family affair,” when Kate got to the altar. Nice that he had a sense of humor about it!
I missed almost the whole thing – I woke up and started scrambling to get ready for work, let the corgis out, started getting dressed, remembered and turned on the TV just in time to see him put the ring on her finger. The timing was so uncanny I thought it must be an instant replay! But no, it was live! And then I went to brush my teeth. I listened for about 10 minutes and then I had to feed the dogs and rush out the door. Husband is on a business trip so I had to do everything! About all I got was a few glimpses of the Queen, that ridiculous antler hat, and heard Kate’s bro’s reading. I did see Harry’s quick grin at the “Amen” at the end of the pronouncement.
I woke up due to insomnia and remembered that there was something good on TV for a change!
It was lovely. Those 2 girls: heavyset brunette in blue and a slimmer, overly made-up blonde with that stupid mauvey antler hat–THOSE are Beatrice and Eugenie?

And where was Andrew? Didn’t see him at all. Was Fergie even invited? Saw a glimpse of Anne (looking very sour, frankly) and Edward (looking bored), but no other family that I recognized. Was the Earl of Spencer there (he is Wills uncle afterall)?

I loved, loved, loved the trees in Westminster. And the boys’ choirs–such amazing voices. The kiss was quite a letdown–too quick and too peckish for me.
