I guess the title about says it all, no?
I have to pick up a friend from the airport at about 2:30 this Thursday. I’m planning on eating lunch downtown providing that I can find some company- anyone up for it? Anytime from 11 to 1:30 (or even all points in between) would be great. I don’t know Philly very well, so I’m up for eating establishment suggestions.

Well, lah-dee-dah!
{snort} When I was in college, we didn’t lunch downtown…we carried sandwiches around with us, made of day-old bread and dry cheese and suspicious-smelling cold cuts. If we were downtown without home-packed provisions, we met in the City Park and fought the squirrels for the tourists’ peanuts and chewed the bark offa the TREES. And we were HAPPY TO HAVE IT!!!
(Philadelphia Lunch Hint: Go to the Terminal Market; wander from stall to stall and grab a nosh at each one that looks appealing.)
I can’t go, but definately go to the terminal market. Yummy and varied foods to be had, and cool shopping for snacks and stuff.
I’m feeling unloved.
