I’d sure be appreciative if anyone who lives in the tri-state area knows how the heck to get from the Merit Parkway in CT to Yankee Stadium. I know there are a lot of Manhattenites and other New Yorkers here who would know.

The Yankees are advising people to take public transportation because of construction around the stadium area.

The Merritt to the Hutch to the Deagan. Get off at 138th St.
Or something like that.
Merritt south to Hutch south to Cross County west to Degan south to 138th Street.
According tothis map of the subway system there are a couple of lines (green line on map) from your vicinity almost directly to the Yankee Stadium station. There might even be a park and ride lot near the subway station.
If the Yankee’s website know what it is talking about, Exit 6 on the Deegan southbound is 161st St. which is right at Yankee Stadium.
