I like the idea of doing this sooner rather than later so that waterj2 will still be around. I also like the idea of doing this downtown so as to be accessible by T and more strategically located should we decide to go on a killing spree – I mean dancing or something. Yeah. That’s what I meant.

I’m going to be in Minnesota on 08/19. I suggest Labor Day weekend (09/02), again. I haven’t been to either location, so I’m not picky. Can the students make it on that date? Is that date agreeable to those who couldn’t break away in August?

It was my favorite coffee house and now it’s gone!
The owners of the building decided they wanted to use it for something else, so kicked out
the Curious Liquids folks. They couldn;t find another building with the same charm (did you
ever hang out downstairs? So cool!) so sold the name Curious Liquids to the Bagel Cafe
people (across from the subway entrance on Tremont) but it is horrible.
Very sterile and modern. Yuck yuck yuck.
Not that I don’t enjoy sterile modern coffee shops,
but they are more of the grab-it-and-go type of place,
not linger over an iced toasted-hazelnut flavored milk
or cappuccino.
Anyway, Northeast Brewing Co sounds good to me, any weekend except Labor Day weekend.

I’m moving out of Boston at the end of August, though, so I hope that date is the one chosen or I probably won’t make it.
Well, it looks like August 19th is the winner thus far. That would mean no Nen, which isn’t so cool. I don’t like the idea of pushing this back so far that we miss the current Boston doper contingent. What if we pushed it up a week to the 12th? Conflicts?
I make the 12th, 19th, or Labor Day, with possibilities of perhaps later in September. I’d prefer Northeast Brewing Company myself. I seem to recall the 12th being bad for some of the others, though.
And for our prospective BC student, I’ve heard they require you to be able to drink two sixpacks of beer before they let you start classes, so I know you’ll be up for some fun.
We’ve been going over our schedules. There’s a possibility we can’t make the 19th, and the 12th is OK. I’ll be away on Labor Day weekend
