Anyone want a postcard from Spain?

WOOHOO!!!

My postcard of the Mezquita de Cordoba arrived in today’s mail. Posted 24 October, arrived 2 November.

Thanks Rachel, that’s such an awesome pic.

My postcard arrived today.
Picture of the (Hope I got this right) Patrimonio De La Humanidad Mezquita Catedral.

Sa Cool.

My father’s friend sent him just that. The poor little critter was flying happily around a Madrid hotel room when thwack next thing he knows he’s taped to a letter with an arrow pointing to him, and a caption saying “Spanish Fly”. Aaah, such wit.

chique, my son was so excited to get his postcard!

We put it on his wall beside his giant map of the world and he found Spain and put a colored pin in the map to mark it. (We’re working on his geography at home)

He’s showed it to everybody that has been here and insist on taking it to school for Show & Tell.

Thanks. You made his week

Now that you are settled back at home I want stories. Tales of adventure and derring-do, romance, intrigue, gastrointestinal distress, I’ll take whatever you’ve got.

Oh, good…glad y’all are getting those. Like I said, I was worried for a bit. I’m glad you liked them, too

Arden, how old is lil Arden? I figured he’d like the castle

Shibboleth, I really, REALLY tried to fit some red into my suitcase for ya…I failed miserably :frowning: And I’d say ‘gastrointestinal heaven’ rather than ‘distress’ - DAMN the food is good there (in Andalusia at least…didn’t want to try the food in the Madrid airport and have Spain ruined for me). How much did I like it? Suffice to say that I’m going to start playing the lottery for the sole purpose of winning so I can expatriate myself

Jr. Ranger II just turned 8.
