I got your package late last week and opened it and wrote a note to myself to update the thread and I never did because I’m horribly irresponsible.
I feel even worse because you’re my Christmas buddy! This is at least the second, if not third, time that we’ve had each other in this exchange. You deserve better.
ANYWAY
What an awesome package! I got two awesome local magnets from the Michigan area. The first is a map of the mitt, the second is a cute bottle opener (something I definitely don’t have on my fridge) with an inspirational message to be like a proton and stay positive. I’m assuming this came from a science museum?
I also received a Michigan coaster, local honey, a beanie from the local high school, and some delicious chocolate made with mint and AUTHENTIC Michigan cherries. Did I mention that I go nuts for cherries? They’re so good.
I’m not even done! I also got a jar of nutella (that Mrs. Cups may have already stolen), a football hot chocolate bomb, and a Christmas pickle ornament. I took German in high school so I know all about the tradition of the pickle, but I’ve never had one before. I’m very excited to make that a brand-new tradition with my daughter. She’ll grow up being excited for this pickle and I’m so happy about it.
Again, I’m super super sorry I didn’t say anything…but I loved everything.
I’m glad you enjoyed it all! I was debating between the earrings I got you, or another pair that was much larger and had a bit of a globe thingy attached. It was more…let’s say gaudy. I thought the look was neat, but figured the ones I got you were more adaptable to any style.
It sounds like a clear case of Toddler Brain to me. Folks with toddlers can be excused a whole lot because so much happens every single day!
I’m happy that everyone got their packages in a timely fashion. I’m looking forward to the Christmas reactions from those who were able to wait, it is always so much fun!

You definitely made the right choice. I love hanging earrings, but I have very short hair, and anything too much doesn’t have anywhere to hide. Mine are perfect!

JaneDoe42 (it was you, right?) went all out! Three pairs of earrings: purple angels, jack-o-lanterns, and Day of the Dead skulls. Two bars of handmade soap, and an eye-catching soap dish to go with. Microwave popcorn, peppermint bark, and Hershey’s Kisses. (Mr. Rilch says thank you for the peppermint bark.) Also light-up socks (!), a lovely card, and an emery board shaped like a cactus. Amazing. To my Double-Extra-Secret Santas Thank you so much for putting so much love, thoughtfulness and joy into what was lining up to be a very mediocre holiday. The cats say thank you for the toy they are fighting over and they would also say thank you for the food, but they are cats so they look upon food as worship offerings. 
The Christmas themed towels are fabulous and I want to know if the kitchen towel holder was made by the sender? The sweets are lovely treats, and I am trying to make them last, but I believe I’ll be unsuccessful. But that’s status normal.
Drinking a cup of tasty hot chocolate before I settle back to my pea soup and biscuit dinner. I will make it to the food shelf this week, or a food shelf this week. Thank you all.
Oh, I was offered a job on Christmas Eve but it would require moving to a tough town a few hundred miles away. It’s not what I want at all, but it’s a job so I’m thinking on it. And a cousin and I had a long phone call on Friday. We will be teaming up to help each other with the job search. That and the passing of winter solstice are making me feel a bit more hopeful. Thank you all for helping me pull through my tight situation.
