The USPS is more efficient than I expected, so I had to spoil the secret for my recipient. I’m sure the chance of transmission of plague is very small, but better safe, right? And a week isn’t that long to wait, right? We’re not children here, after all.
I never was very good with secrets… 
Mine arrived! But I haven’t opened it yet. It arrived a few days ago and I’m pretty sure it’s my Straight Dope Secret Santa gift, because it’s from a state back east and I don’t know anyone from that wild, wonderful state.

We went to the craft fair today and I was able to find some really neat items made by local craftsmen and women, so I will be shipping on Monday.

I have opened the ones with the yummy goodies, because I couldn’t wait. They are very yummy! I had heard of Aplets and Cotlets, but I don’t believe I have ever had them before. I had no idea there were to many varieties. We sampled one of every flavor. Delicious! Thank you. Will open the other box when the next one arrives.

Yummy. I vaguely remember a cherry one that apparently I was the only fan of. I need to learn how to make these without gelatin.
One package is officially headed north! Had a minor hiccup trying to mail it on Saturday, but successfully handed it to the post office today. I hope it arrives in time, but early apologies if not. Think of it as a bonus gift if it’s after Christmas

As far as the package I received from @ [Rhiannon8404- I love it! I am now the proud owner (and wearer) of a Pliny The Elder t-shirt from Russian River Brewing, a bar of coal tar soap from a farm in El Dorado CA, two olive oils and a balsamic vinegar from Placerville, and a bag of whole bean coffee from Pachamama Co-Op in Sacramento (which I am currently sipping-most delightful).

I have now received the last box in my gifts from @Baker and they are all so lovely! The fruit candies, as mentioned before, are so delicious. I am not sure there will be any left for Christmas Eve. I also received a very pretty ornament depicting Kanas "The Sunflower State, chocolate covered sunflower seeds, and a lovely bar of soap made in Kansas. The best gift of all is the gorgeous crocheted lap robe. The granny squares are vibrant jewel tones and are edged in black. It almost looks like stained glass. It is so pretty. Thank you so very much @Baker!!!
