There was once a fairly terrible seafood-themed bar-n-grill called the Gally Ho. The waitstaff wore these *awesome * t-shirts that said “I [heart] the Ho.” I always wanted one. I longed for one. I dropped broad hints at Christmas time and birthdays. Apparently my loved ones did not agree on the awesomeness of the t-shirt, because I didn’t get one. Finally I decided to go buy my own “I [heart] the Ho” t-shirt, and found that, while I dawdled, the Gally Ho had gone out of business.

That reminds me, velvetjones, of a comment made some years ago by my stepsister about my “dirty little mind” that led us to theorize that everyone has two brains: their big, normal one that does all the important stuff, and a smaller one that does nothing but think about sex.
