$2.22 for 93 here today. Regular was $1.84 I believe.
Down to 89 cents a litre here.
Today I visited a company that, because of falling oil prices, had to lay off half their 200-person workforce. It’s nice to pay less for gas, but, really, the radical change in oil prices is actually not a good thing.
Converted to USD petrol here is around 0.45 per litre, although it is heavily subsidized by the government. We started a pool to see what crude oil price will be at years end. My prediction was $60 - is still economic for most projects - but few others had it at $75.
Still not under $2.00 yet, but it’s getting really close. Saw $2.03 out near FedEx Field today.
$1.89 a gallon this morning.
This station is now at $2.49, though I haven’t driven past it since Saturday so it may be lower now. Every time I go by it seems to have dropped another 5 cents.
Lowest I’ve seen in my immediate area, which is generally pricey, is $2.27 cash price. If I wanted to drive around on Rockville Pike, GasBuddy says I could find $2.10, but that’s a big PITA to save at the most $1.70.
