They look alike , and their voices are nearly identical.

Spit, I used to have that same theory… I actually made that site as an offshoot of a discussion about their eerily identical images. I do think Branch is hotter, though. Other than that, Skip is totally right. Although Branch sounds slightly less like a Muppet.
