Ah. Well, it could just be that more women are unafraid to admit it now, or it’s a fad, or whatever.
I just don’t think anyone is bi or lesbian unless they identify as such. One lesbian experience, or even lesbian daydreams, does not a lesbian make.
Hell, I’ve had sexual fantasies in which I was the man! Does that make me a man? Oh no, wait, it makes me a lesbian, because I am fantasizing about women. Er…right?
You’re adorable. Seriously, is this the first untenable position you’ve ever found yourself defending? Because that has to be the dumbest attempt to shift the goal posts that I’ve ever seen, considering that my post was about how:
Maybe women tell you that they are lesbians to make you go away
Eels are perverts.
Neither of these are US-centric. Do you think Canada has more pretend lesbians or less pretend lesbians anyway? Sure, the women here wear more plaid jackets and boots, but I don’t think you should count them out of your outrageous assertions.
For what it’s worth, I’m a US citizen who grew up in the US, went to club in the US, and all the anecdotes in the post are from America, even the bisexual woman and the guppies.
Look, I’m 24 years old. Ever since Katy perry became a hit every girl and their best friend is bisexual. I’m not sure of your age, but in this generation it’s considered rare for a girl to not be bisexual. I you are older, it’s probably much different.l don’t think Perry was a hit in other countries besides the US and UK, so bisexual girls and lesbians aren’t as abundant in other countries.
You are bicurious…it’s not hard to understand. Don’t worry most women agree with you. Many men are like yourself also as bicurious, but just aren’r straight. You are not a lesbian either though.
I must have missed it sorry. I meant that age range and younger though although now I’m not ure since many in this thread have stated older women have all done the bi thing also…so apply what I said to women in general then, except women who were born before clubs were around.
Also you did not respond to my post noting that kissing another girl does not make you bisexual. Kissing does not make you anything unless you do it out of sexual attraction. For example, if your dog gives you “puppy kisses” right on the face, it does not mean you engage in sexual bestiality. The puppy kisses, in most cases we hope, are unrelated to sexuality. Likewise girls smooching on girls to cause a stir is barely a sexual act.
Look if a girl flashes her tits at Mardis Gras once in her life does it make her a stripper? According to your reasoning, yes, she is always and forever a stripper who will just strip right down any chance she gets.
I think the rest of us are defining “real life” as meaning “real life on the planet earth.”
I’ve been around a whole lot longer than you, and have known literally thousands of gay, bi, and straight women. I can honestly say that not one single idea of yours has any truth in reality.
Do you also believe that all gay men are drop-dead gorgeous? (Actually we are. Barney Frank is the only exception.)
No, I DON’T hear stories about girls kissing for attention all the time. I hear such stories pretty rarely. I tend to hear more stories about one Bubba breaking a chair over another Bubba’s head. That’s far more common in my neck of the woods.
Read what I write. Look at people other than those in your own age group, and in your own group, period. Accept that what happens in one particular group is not necessarily the norm in other groups.
I just texted both my daughters (ages 18 and 21). They both answered “katy Who?”
I reminded them that she is the newest set of knockers on music videos. The older one has not yet responded, but the younger wanted to be on record dtating that I pay far more attention to knockers than is seemly for a gentleman of my age.
All you old farts just do not understand the power that Katie Perry has to completely invert the sexual orientation of the vast majority of young women (and especially the more attractive ones) with a single song.
(Dr. F., I think Katy Perry may actually be somewhat passé now. My 16 year old daughter recently told me that Florence and the Machine are kind of last year’s thing.)
Jenaroph proved you wrong in Post #12. If you want to continue to argue you’re right, show us some research that women’s self-identification as straight has changed from 90% to <50% in the last seven years.
So all it took was a hit song for an entire generation of women to discover their true sexual identity? That’s like claiming *The Sound of Music *caused an entire generations of nuns to leave the convent and marry widowed Austrians with lots of children.
Look, most girls now say they are bi, kiss girls, date girls, and everything of the sort. That’s not bisexual enough for you? If a guy kisses a guy he is gay, period. Society says this. If a girl kisses a girl, she is bi. These double standards are pointless. As well as most girls don’t stop at just kissing means they are bi. It’s also normal women as well as climbers and models, so I don’t see the point of your post.
Ok, but for some reason you cling to heterosexual instead of admitting you are bicurious. You may be older, but honestly seem ignorant of sexuality. A true, and I mean real heterosexual woman doesn’t fantasize about women, same as men who are hetero. You claim you are, which is wrong. I don’t see the point of clinging to that when most women are also lgbt as well. Also, I may be 24, but I usually am around much older men, so don’t classify me with my own age group.
