Are there any celebrities who are members?

Although the people who think I’m famous wouldn’t know me if they bumped into me on the street, I am the world’s leading lay expert in my own tiny little field of expertise.

My name is so powerful in the field that it’s been used as a front-cover blurb on new books being published. The other professional writers here will go into insane fits of jealousy when they read that.

Too bad for my ego that it’s an accomplishment that means absolutely nothing to the vast majority of humanity. :frowning:

Just to show you how famous I am by doing a little namedropping, I [sub]bought[/sub] Jon Stewart’s book, Naked Pictures of Famous People.

Who’s Jon Stewart?
Oh, that right…he’s Martha’s ex. :smack:

Man, that’s disturbing.

I’m Henry the Eighth. I am! Henry the Eigth I am, I am.

I used both words in order to cover both words’ grounds. But, I should have made that more clear.

Famous as in “known by many people”… celebs as in “mainstream entertainment types”.

Anth, relax. It isn’t your duty to moderate here, and it certainly isn’t your responsibility to keep others from `blowing their cover.’

I’m pretty well-known in my own region. Nobody else has heard of me, but I’m commonly recognized at the grocery store and so on.

WTF?

You want to explain exactly how I’m “moderating” and "keep(ing) others from `blowing their cover’ "?

Hey! blowing under the covers is not appropriate to this forum! Discussions of sex belong elsewhere.

I’m not a celebrity, but I play one on TV.

Tripler
I’m famous in my own, special way.

Anth:

Emphasis yours.

Is there another reasonable way to interpret that?

Which is it: is that the “moderating” or is that the “trying to keep others from blowing their cover”? I can’t even think of how one would interpret that statement as the odd assertion of “trying to keep others from blowing their cover”, so it must be the “moderating” one.

And the answer is simple: Dan and I have an issue that is between us and us only. I wanted to know if the reason he felt like my post out of all others on this board needed nitpicking by him suddenly was due to that personal issue, which should best be discussed elsewhere. He says it isn’t, I know he’s a straightforward and honest person, so everything’s nice and friendly.

And then you stop by a day later to re-open it for some unknown reason.

I really don’t think this needs one more word of discussion at all in this thread, forum, or Board. It’s OVER. But that’s just my opinion - not “moderating”.

Jon Stewart, if you’re reading this, I love your show, man.

Micheal Moore, if you’re reading this, you’re a windbag, but I loved TV Nation.

Heather Graham, if you’re reading this, why haven’t you returned my calls? And technically, this is not a restraining order violation.

Well, my name shows up about 200 times in Google, and 99% of them are me. Does that count?

The hedonistic life of a freelance game reviewer allows no privacy.

Googling “DeadlyAccurate”… 5 hits!

Curses, you’ve found me out. But I’m a poweful entity; prepare to feel my wrath!

And one of those hits was a SD thread… hmmmmm

Well, I’ve been in on TV and quoted in newspapers several times. And I’ve had total strangers come up to me because they knew who I was and wanted to talk to me on a few occasions. (Yes, I found this very weird.)

Later, I even had my own fans when I worked at the local sports arena. I was “the nice security guard with a sense of humor.” All the visitors from out of town wanted their picture with me. I found that weird too.

But I’m not a celebrity. Not so much as one google hit.

What’s a lay expert? Do you test beds? And what does Exapno Mapcase mean in Russian?

Well, if you do a google search on my name it is revealed that I’m playing defense for the Montreal Canadiens. So THAT explains all those unexplained blackouts I’ve been having lately…

The bad astronomer and Ianzin are like, debunkers? Would they have been on anything ,like on Tv, could he get me sylvia brown’s
Autograph? It’s for my mom I swear.
