Are You A Bruce Campbell Fan?

I just ordered the 26 episode DvD set of The Adventures of Briscoe County, Jr… I hated to see it leave the air because at the time, I thought of it as the comeback of the TV Western. So Oslo I guess D and I will plan a marathon of our own. Thanks for the idea!

Quasi

Yes.

And please don’t forget his role in Justice (parts 1 and 2) on H:LoTS.
Awesome

Funny you should ask, because a few days ago a bunch of friends were talking about the Freebie Five list, and we were all listing who’s on ours. Bruce has always been on mine. I can’t decide if I like Evil Dead or Brisco better, and of course Bubba Ho-tep was great. He even makes watching stupid Old Spice commercials fun!

So, yes.

No love for “Jack of All Trades.” That show was great, in a strange, cheesy way.

Watching Army of Darkness on my iPad today.

Hey, what’s that on your face?

Own Bubba Hotep and TCAo Brisco County Jr. on DVD.

Was always glad to see him on Burn Notice even if I stopped watching because of main character CANT ACT and his girlfriend BAG OF LEATHER.

Ever since his stint on Hercules: The Legendary Journeys. Though I didn’t know he was Bruce Campbell for a long time. I heard the name so often I assumed it must have been a leading man, and not a character actor.

If I wore aftershave, I’d splash on some Old Spice in his honor.

I was going to mention that show if nobody else had. Loved it. The Daring Dragoon! (I think; it’s been a long time.)

How could you not love the greatest actor of all time?

Autolycus! In Zena Warrior Princess too.

Count me in as another fan of Bubba Ho-Tep

Big fan. Loved him in Bubba Ho-Tep, the Old Spice commercial, and various other things, but he’ll always be Ash to me.

Helps that him and Raimi are both from my neighborhood, too.

“Adventures of Briscoe County” would have been even better if they could have had more pairings with his screen daddy, R Lee Ermey.

You may love Bruce Campbell, and I do, but you show respect to the old gunny!

Fan of Burn Notice.

Not a fan of the Sam Axe movie. It was missing something. Like the rest of the Burn Notice cast. While Sam is likable enough, to me he doesn’t stand as the main character.

OK, guys, help me with my playlist (I have Hulu + and Netflix):

The Evil Dead
Evil Dead II (not available?)
Army of Darkness (not available?)
Bubba Ho-tep
Man with the Screaming Brain (not available?)
Xena and Herc episodes (can’t find a source for Brisco County)

Any more suggestions?

I really enjoyed Alien Apocalypse.

I have a signed copy of “Make Love the Bruce Campbell Way”, which is a rip off as it is not a love making technique book.

Inspired by this thread, I snapped up a copy of *Bruce Campbell vs. Army Of Darkness (Official Bootleg Edition) * for just $6 at Rasputin Records. Perfect fare for a Saturday night!

Good heavens, that was bad! Bad acting, terrible continuity. Bruce looks about 18 in this thing.

Not a problem, though - it reportedly made nearly $30 million gross on a $350K budget.

Is Evil Dead 2 worth the $2 at Amazon?

:smack: I never realized it was spelled that way. Now I get the poster so named. I thought he was named after some exotic species, an Auto-Lycus.

I read that and I believe he also had a column for a little bit in a horror magazine.

He’s been in a ton of stuff (as a bit part, like the Spiderman movies) due to his friendship with Sam Rami.

Evil dead, Evil dead 2, and Army of Darkness, where he plays ‘Ash’ are his quintessential characters, IMO.
