Just because he gives people a gun, doesn’t mean it’s loaded with high-powered bullets. Or more than one. Might just be a single wad-cutter.
This episode also confirmed that Thea doesn’t know who the Arrow is.

At least not when she’s herself. When she’s in brainwashed Canary snuffing mode, she might.
Looks like Ollie, Merlyn and Ollies’ old friends from China are going to deal with Ra’s, while team Arrow, Atom & Canary take on Brick. Hope no one dies, except Thea.
Or they know and don’t care. I don’t think WoW is aiming for anything remotely approaching realism.
I mean, I’m pretty sure the WoW designers are actually aware that nobody would wear bikini-style platemail either.
Poor Detective Lance. Laurel has GOT to tell him the truth at some point and that is going to su-uck.
I guess we don’t know enough about the bylaws and traditions of the league of assassins to know what the procedure is when a duel is fought and the loser ends up not being dead after all. I mean, they did fight a duel, and Ollie lost. Does that fulfill his obligation? Or is Ras going to come after him again? Ollie and Merlyn and Thea teaming up could be epic.
I think the “to the death” part is still in effect. Question is whether Ollie will kill Ra’s after he swore off killing. I don’t see that as a big deal though. Ra’s deserves killin’ even if you’re a pacifist. Plus there are plenty of other people around who’d be justified killing him too.
I’m a bit amused (or maybe bemused is a better word) that they brought back Caity Lotz, with a “Guest Star” credit and everything, without actually showing her onscreen. They just used her voice.
Oh, Thea, I can’t believe you slept with the douchey DJ. (who turned out to be the worst assassin ever)
I’m glad she’s finally in the know about Ollie. However, how that made her suddenly change her mind about Malcolm was puzzling to me.
The Laurel/Sara conflict was well done. The torch has been passed. That scene with Laurel telling daddy about Sara was heartbreaking.
I liked Felicity and the group taking Ollie down a notch when he started to get all high and mighty about everything.
Pretty good ep. Most of the big secrets are out, except Thea doesn’t know she killed Sara yet, does she?
Now we just need some more movement on Palmer’s A.T.O.M. suit. Almost seems he’d be a better fit on Flash. They’re more colorful and techy over there.
Ollie needs to smack his team back into line. Can’t be all chiefs & no braves. Ooh, we’re a democracy now. Slap 'em around a little, Ollie.
I dunno, he only failed because not one but TWO dudes with bows and arrows and extensive combat training showed up unexpectedly.
It’s nice that finally on a superhero show someone didn’t get all huffy about being kept out of the loop. She’s still my least-liked character though - the writers make her so unlikable.
He spent a fair amount of time with her before they showed up. Time in which, presumably, Thea was rather defenseless.
Note that she didn’t exactly come clean to Ollie about all the combat training she got from Malcolm. Glass houses and stones and all that.
Am I the only one who likes Thea?
No, I think Roy still does too
I don’t know why I like her, I just do. Maybe it’s just because I’m an older brother with two younger sisters, and personal experience just makes me find a lot of what she does to be completely believable.
She’s a lot better now – less whiny.

So, we’re down to Detective Lance as the only main character with lines and a name who doesn’t know Ollie’s secret, and that’s just because he hasn’t thought about it for more than a couple seconds. He figured out who Arsenal was, Arrow shouldn’t be too much of a stretch. They’re probably just holding out for a big reveal some day.
Well, you know what they say, only a few dozen people can keep a secret when one of them, I mean, Sara is dead.
Training for six months with somebody who will beat you with a shinai if you show any weakness will do that for you. And that’s on a good day…
