A lot of Scottish people type in some combination of English and Scots. I only type in English, but then I don’t speak Scots at all, really.

That makes good sense. Do they typically vary in doing so from many Scottish sounding words to none? What about people from Leeds who have been in Glasgow for a year and a half?

I am from Glasgow I just lived in Leeds.

Sure, yes. To some extent it depends who you’re talking to and how likely they are to understand Scots.

Folks from Leeds wouldn’t likely type in Scots, but as I understand it that’s not an issue here.
