Ask a paraplegic girl.

How’s the view from the top of your white steed?

OK, I’m thinking of a number between 1 and 35.

What number am I thinking of?

ETA: sorry, n/m. I always mix up paraplegic and psychic.

Did you live in Montserrat until your family moved to Scotland?

(And some of us don’t have pitchforks and torches; we’re merely curious.)

Better than your view presently. Hey, I’m willing to accept I may be wrong, but isn’t presumed innocence the default setting?

On second thought, why can’t someone be paraplegic and psychic? Go on, what’s my number.

Missed the OJ, Anthony, Zimmerman, etc trials, huh?

Two out of three ain’t bad.

From a previous post.

So just tell us about yourself. We get the paraplegic part, and that was fairly recent. Fill us in on the rest of your life, what your likes and dislikes are.

Welcome to the forum, it’s good to have another poster from the UK.

My questions: How did you find this website? What is it that drew you here?
I do think it’s ridiculous how some people were so quick to be accusatory, as if it were so impossible that there could be a real person who is a paraplegic.
I am willing to assume that people are who they say they are unless they are clearly trying to scam someone out of money or something. Even if you were making everything up, so what? It doesn’t hurt me.

How did the incident affect you psychologically?

Do you notice people staring at you a lot?

If so, how does that make you feel?
(I’m assuming you’re a girlie based on the name. If, otoh, you’ve got a Y chromosome, please ignore the second question as it’d violate man law #58). I know it annoys me when random strangers come up and ask me the same two questions “How tall are you?” and “do you play basketball?”

As a UK-anite: Have you ever been to St. Helens? Is it really as full of freaks and perverts as it would seem from internet forums?

Is this a joke?

i mean, firstly, you are aware that names atarting Mc~ and Mac~ are really not all that uncommon in Scotland?

Nextly, how is are those usernames close, again?

I assume you are currently in physical therapy?

Tell me about your ADLs (Activities of Daily Living)

Do you have a SO?How are they dealing with your injury/recovery?

Yes I have recovered some movement and feeling. I am in physiotherapy. The doctors have said that there is a good chance of a good recovery.

For a short time, we lived there because of my Dad’s job.

I was devastated for several months, but then I realised that if I worked at it I would be able to walk again, so I’m ok now.

I do get people staring, I just try to ignore it.

Yes I have been to St Helens, most of North West England is full of freaks, all of them on stolen computers.

(and yes, I am a girlie)
