Ask the conspiracy theorist

*Alex Hunter, Boulder’s district attorney, is a political ally of the firm, which may explain why rather than investigating the Ramseys, the D.A.'s office has often seemed more like collaborating with them, sharing evidence with the legal team of the unindicted and uncharged Ramsey’s.

Thanks to arrangements made by their lawyers, the Ramseys were provided with copies of their original statements and police reports if they would agree to talk with the police, something normally never done. The Hunter office has taken as plausible the “lone nut intruder” theory first promoted by the Ramsey’s, who have pointed the finger of suspicion at any person close to them that seemed to doubt their ridiculous tale.

By April 1997, the Boulder police decided they could no longer trust the D.A.'s office, and stopped sharing information. Soon after, their computer system, as well as that of the BCI, was hacked into and evidence ‘wiped’, or destroyed. Physical evidence has also disappeared from the BCI, indicating an obvious cover-up. Evidence should never ‘disappear’.*

There are lots and lots of themes in stories from most cultures- and most of them are not fact-based. On most topics, as compared to now, the ancients were superbly ignorant about how the world really worked.

There is a way to tell some things for certain, or at least as certain as our faculties allow. And I say “I don’t know” all the time. Yes, I don’t know. But all possible explanations are not equal. I don’t know doesn’t mean 50/50. It’s possible God created Earth, pretty much as it is now, about 6000 years ago- but the preponderance of evidence points to a much older Earth, and that plate tectonics and evolution (among other things) account for the changes through Earth’s history. It’s possible Barack Obama was born in Kenya, and his parents and grandparents conspired with the state of Hawaii to forge records that show he was born there- but the preponderance of evidence points to him being born in Hawaii as he states. It’s possible that the moon landing was a hoax, and it was filmed in a sound stage in Arizona- but the preponderance of evidence points to real astronauts riding a real rocket to the Moon and back.

It’s possible there’s an ancient Reptilian super-race that guides humanity from the shadows- it’s possible that they have tiny winged unicorn pets, and that they survive on sunbeams and hand-clapping. But I’m not going to give such a claim much thought without solid evidence to accompany it.

Seriously- if you believe in conspiracy theories, how do you sort out the “valid” ones from the ravings of a crazy person, or the lies of a charlatan? Crazy people and charlatans really do exist- and crazy people really do rant about things that make no sense- and charlatans really do make up stories to take your money or gain in some other way… how does one sort these out?

I would expect the Illuminati to be more subtle. This sounds more like standard political corruption.

But there are some things we do know. The fact that there aren’t human-like reptilians who control a secretive world government is one of those things.

I’m not sure where you got the information. It appears you are quoting something. With all of the things written out there about the case I will not claim to be or want to be an expert on it. But at best you are talking about a person or small group conspiring for their own political benefit. No one claims there have never been conspiracies. Prisons are full of people involved in conspiring against others. But what points to this one small but controversial case being part of a worldwide conspiracy?

You are cherry picking. Primitive cultures assign gods to the powerful things in their life. Those that lived by an ocean had ocean gods. Lightning gods abound. River gods, forest gods, bird gods, sprites, nymphs, brownies… They used myth to explain the world around them. As are you and Koz. If there were lizards or snakes in their world the anthropormophized them. Along with jackels and birds and dogs and cats. Cherry picking.

when come back, bring brownies.

For reasons best not addressed..dont want to get too into the subject of the Birth certificate cough

But, you ask another good question. How does one sort these out? I would say, by using your own moral compass of what you believe to be true.

And that takes a while for sure. For the most part, anyone who falls down the rabbit hole (so to speak) started with an almost completely superficial question and through further research the dots start connecting on their own. Through trial and error you keep somethings and throw out the rest. A lot of these “theories” are brought about because the official story has huge holes in them. Forcing independent thinks to question it.

There are two different types of crazy/charlatans when it comes to this thing. One might be some guy who believes in Reptilians and who blogs about it in his remote trailer in Arizona somewhere. The other might be a institution that teaches how great MLK was, but not that they themselvese - in their own courts - were found guilty of killing him. Or that we are consistenly being told there isn’t enough for everyone to live comfortably, with a job and a house..maybe a decent used car..a Honda or something. But the ones delivering the message grows richer and richer.

Which snake oil salesman is the most dangerous?

It seems to me like your toeing the line with wether or not you want to get started. Good luck with your trip.

“The good thing about science is that it’s true whether or not you believe in it.”

-Neil deGrasse Tyson

At present, science can’t explain with 100% certainty why we sleep. And I’m sure that was one of the earliest activities humans were involved in.

Neil deGrasse Tyson, brilliant man and I love hearing him speak, but I get distracted by the grossness of his mustache..So ..you know put your stock in who you trust.

Science, God, Humanity, ungroomed mustaches…

Awww, that’s no fun. If you have something to offer on the subject of the birth certificate, I for one would love to hear it.

Yes, large organizations like governments (including the US government) can be hypocritical, corrupt, and often do many, many bad things- mostly to enrich and empower those at the top and their allies. But why do Reptilians and ancient super-beings need to be involved? Why can’t it just be some morally corrupt villains who manipulate people and systems for their own benefit?

[cryptic voice]Or maybe your line is the one that they want us all to toe…[/cryptic voice]

And making up stories about Lizard men explains 0% of anything. I get it. For you its a kind of intellectual exercise. Believe me, I respect that more than weird G-192 comments.

This is all speculation and difficult or impossible to verify. The Illuminati might have somehow brainwashed these people to do as described. They may have induced these images into their minds. So it is hard to believe because one does not know what to believe.

I don’t know.

I read it in David Icke’s book, The Biggest Secret. I also drew my own conclusions.

You guessed right.

They do not fight amongst themselves. They have guided all major world events.

The Illuminati started World War I with the War on Terror in mind.

The Illuminati got Gavrillo Princip, a member of the Black Hand, to assassinate Archduke Francis Ferdinand, which caused World War I. The Illuminati orchestrated the stock market crash which caused the Great Depression. The Illuminati gave permission to Joseph Stalin to give permission to Kim Il-sung to start the Korean War. The Illuminati, through their intelligence agency which monitors all world leaders, all intelligence agencies, and an unspecified number of the world’s population, let the events of September 11, 2001 happen on purpose which started the War on Terror.

Yes.

No.

I’m going to reply to you as Larry Borgia replied to me:

Oh for heaven’s sake…

Now who’s childish?

I anticipated you making this remark, Loach. That’s why I read The New York Times every day. I know it might raise eyebrows from fellow conspiracy theorists like SleuFeets. However, reading a newspaper at least insulates me from such condescending remarks about me seeing something shiny on the internet. Because I notice it first in the newspaper and then I find it on the internet.

I feel the same way.

A better example - 100 wandering salesmen offer water that they claim is better than pure water. Some claim that the minerals are for nutrition. Others claim that chemicals like fluoride keep the water clean. It is possible that one of these minerals or chemicals actually has medicinal value. But we’ve all got to go by what the salesman is actually selling. Why would anyone buy anything other than water?

But there is a secretive world government.

Yes, it is conceivable.

Yes, it is possible.

So it is conceivable that a secretive organization pulls the strings of world leaders and world events and it is possible that there’s an ancient Reptilian super-race that guides humanity from the shadows.

So who killed Chavez and why? Was every dictator killed by the Illuminati? And is Charlie Sheen really a secret agent as I suspect?

No, there isn’t. Or at least you haven’t produced one shred of evidence that would lead us to believe that, and we have lots and lots of evidence and logic that argues against it.

No matter how many times you repeat yourself you still haven’t said anything.

Kozmik You’ve explained why the Anarch would pick Queen Elizabeth as his emissary. You’ve explained why other heads of state would listen to Elizabeth. Why does Elizabeth listen to the Anarch? Does she agree with his agenda? Is she being deceived? Is she being coerced?

Probably the CIA. Same reason as the 1953 Iranian coup d’état.

Indirectly.

Probably.

**iiandyiiii ** said everything:

Why did Kim Il-sung need permission from Joseph Stalin to start the Korean War? Why would the Anarch speak to the world leaders on behalf of his superiors?
