What do you think of Mr. Solzhenitsyn’s ideas about the nature of evil? He’s clearly not a proponent of Illuminati/Atlantean conspiracy theory.

It would have saved me a lot of time and effort if he had mentioned Atlantis and the Lizard People earlier. I was under the (mistaken) impression that he was just ignorant about politics, history and economics. I would not have bothered engaging him if he had shown his true colours as a loony from the start.

I think you may have misread the quotation. There are (at least) three points. To restate them, far less eloquently than in the original, they are:

It is simplistic to think that evil could be destroyed. In part because it is incorrect to ascribe the existence of evil in the world to bad people who secretly commit evil acts.

Good and evil are both present in human nature and, as such, are part of everyone.

People cannot separate the evil part of their own nature from the good any more than they could, metaphorically, cut out a piece of their own heart, but leave the rest as a functioning whole.
Your response seems to agree with the first part of point #1 (destroying evil is impossible).
Beyond that, please compare and contrast your ideas about the root causes of evil with his.

Just as the Illuminati are above national considerations, the Illuminati are also above considerations of good or evil. That means that the Illuminati controls all sides, both good and evil, and otherwise.
It seems that Joesph Stalin was higher in the “pecking order” than Kim il-sung. If Joseph Stalin is higher than Kim il-sung then who is higher than Joseph Stalin? Possibly the President of the United States or the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom. But that just raises a similar question. These questions would be resolved with a world leader summit.
