You’re an excellent moderator overall Manhattan, but IMO, “irony” demo or not you were unnecessarily rude to this person. You’re certainly entitled and encouraged be efficiently brusque with trangressors, but brutally insulting people who veer from the straight and narrow of the GQ forum with no intent to be disruptive is not really a necessary component of good moderating.

Actually, no. Under the Desmostylus Rules, the name of the mod has to be in the thread title for it to count.
Desmo’s rules are somewhat arbitrary IMHO but they have the benefit of simplicity and objectivity, and I think they come up with the right end result, by hook or by crook.
By the way, Manny, just exactly who’s asshole have you been administrating or administering or whatever the hell it is you’ve been doing?
