Should it not? I even said, in that very thread, I can understand that suicide may be a good option for unrelenting pain and loneliness for some people, although it was not a good option for Duke because he had too many attachments. For people without kids or a significant other or close family, though, I think suicide is and should be a viable last resort.
I mean, for some people medication will never be enough to make them feel right, if they can’t figure out people. They’ll always be too socially deficient or unattractive (or both) to make friends, get married, and have kids. And if they don’t like living alone year after year, who are we to force them?
