I give tours of the Fox Theatre every five or six weeks. My next one is May 13th at 10 a.m.; that’s a Saturday. I encourage you all to come on down and be awed by my encyclopedic knowledge of the history, architecture and mysteries associated with Atlanta’s most famous landmark. There are other tours and other guides, of course, but I’m the best. It’s just $5 and all of that goes to a worthy cause: the Atlanta Preservation Center, Atlanta’s historic preservation organization.
The tour’s 90 minutes, and perhaps afterwards the Dopers can go to lunch.
Well, I would love to take the tour, and be priviledged to garner even some some small part of your great wisdom. Unfortunately, I will be out of town. (Taking a little jaunt to Colorado.) Be sure to remind me next time around, though.
** Five ** I would really love to see the Fox, and hear your presentation, but my college son is coming home the same day!! How about letting us know when the next one is, it would be great if all three of us could come and watch you in action! And see the Fox on the inside instead of just from the outside. I’ll be looking forward to it.
