I’ll be returning to Calgary for a few days at the beginning of May for a lunch that will be honouring my grandfather. While I am in town, I was wondering if a get together for dinner could be arranged. I don’t know what exact dates I’ll be in Calgary yet, but I’ll arrive on either the 1st or 2nd of the month (Thursday or Friday).
From what I can tell at this point, Friday night would probably be the best from my perspective. So what do you say? I’ll most likely be staying at the Palliser. FYI, when I go back to Calgary there are 2 things that I love - Chinese food (I have a serious ginger beef addiction) and Caesar’s, of course I’m open to any other suggestions.
Adam, I would love to join you in a Ginger Beef and Caesar pig-out, but alas immigration doesn’t allow. Next time you’re on the East coast I’ll make you some. Did you know that it was invented in Calgary?
I ordered a ceasar when I was out to dinner with some of the MADs, and the waitress looked at me like I was crazy. Then the dishwasher died. I have to stop going out to dinner here.
Wait a tick, Ginger are you saying that you have a recipe for ginger beef? The sweet and spicy and crispy food of the gods? What would it take to get you to share it with me?
Rather, just email me at gingerofthenorth at hotmail.com (same as in my profile) and I’ll get it to you. If I have to wait for the page to load after you post, it’ll be a year before you get it.
