I’ll be visiting Calgary for a conference June 17 & 18 and Fort McMurray on the 19th. Howver, because of better airfares, I’m arriving in Calgary shortly after 6:30 p.m. on Sat., June 15.

Since GingerOfTheNorth is now GingerOfTheMidAtlantic, I won’t have anyone to show me around and hang out with. I was wondering if any of you would like to get together for dinner or drinks. I know there are plenty of Dopers up there. I’m free Sat. night, all day Sunday, and Tue. and Wed. evening. One place I want to go for sure is the Chili Club Thai House on 11th Ave. SW.

I’ll be staying at the Hyatt downtown near the convention center (centre) again.

You must promise to spill rice on your lap, and eat prodigious amounts of Pad Thai for me.

Sigh. You know that the bathrooms in that hotel are nicer than my house, right?

Yeah, it is quite nice (the whole hotel, not just the bathroom). Nicer than your house in Maryland or Canmore?

If you were still up there, you could stop by and use my extra bed again. :slight_smile:

The only bad night for me is Monday, since I’ll be at a rodeo in Heritage Park. Tuesday and Wednesday are both OK for me…whatever works best for you. I’m at the Hyatt Regency on Centre Street in Room 1217…give me a call.

And GingeroftheNorth…guess where I headed for dinner as soon as I got here? :slight_smile: I had Poh Pai Tod, Pad Thai, and Kao Mun. Mmmm, mmmmm. Plus, I bought me a case of Coffee Crisp to bring back to the States.
