I’m sorry but as someone who practices bdsm, both with a partner and alone, I feel the use of “bondage freak” in the article was offensive lots of folks practice safe and sane and consensual bdsm of all types daily often without the “vanilla” folks knowing a thing. the victims were idiots for placing them selves in danger while bound with no one to help, in other words idiots :), but bondage has nothing to do with that
