I see your point, Inigo, but I think what with the thread title being so similar and coming so quickly after the first one, Skippy deserves a little leeway.

Well, I picked up an official warning for using an acronym. Of course, in warning me, he used a Bad Word[sup]TM[/sup]. I’ve given up trying to figure it out and accept he just has it in for some people and now has the power to actually do something about it.
You weren’t warned for “us[ing] a Bad Word”, you were warned because you made an attempted hijack of the thread to attack another poster when I had made it quite clear that anyone else who tried hijacking the thread was going to be warned. Why you chose to ignore my previous warning, I’m not sure; however, I did quote my post in your warning to make sure it was read that time.
Actually, there wasn’t much to your OP other than a slightly changed thread title (of the one I had just closed). Regardless of the title issue, though, we’ve mentioned before that totally pointless threads can and will be closed; your one-liner OP didn’t really have any meat to it, so absent any other issue, it would have been closed, anyway.
I was making an off-handed comment asking him to Stop Talking For Us. There was no intent of a hijack, and to think that is ludicrous.
But I’ll try to remember to direct any comments outside the Pit toward anyone other than the OP in a seperate Pit thread.

You have not previously encountered the usage of STFU to mean “Shut The Fuck Up”? Because that is the only meaning for that acronym that I have ever encountered.
Particularly given the difference in political viewpoint between the two of you, that’s certainly the meaning I read into the acronym.
Of course that’s what he meant by it. If duffer is trying to claim otherwise, he’s FoS.
