Thanks, I guess I never knew what a bassoon was before.
Now that’s how you do a FlashMOB!
(Looks like they need that word in Spanish, too. )
Barcelona.
This is the bit that bugs me. Where are the microphones? Where’s the ambient noise? It feels like I’m just watching a commercial dressed up as a street performance.
That’s great! Also a good example of how difficult it can be to covertly film in a crowd - early on, they’re clearly having a lot of trouble getting unobstructed shots of the performers.
You were. Waaay too fake for me.
If you want more old European music represented for US taste, here’s another:
We are the world, right.
US taste? That was a commercial for a bank in Spain.
Me three. snif
But it is an anthem–the anthem of the European Union.
Plus, I’m not American
I hate to poop in someone else’s Pamper, but this was my reaction as well. It is a wonderful performance, to be sure, but try as I might I couldn’t help feeling manipulated.
Not trying to knock others enjoyment, just calling it like I feel it.
mmm
Well, it’s mosty an investment bank with some retail, inc. in Florida. But it’s about managing money, and I’m sure they’re keen on most currencies.
I know that this isn’t really a flash mob either but somewhat awesome
Árstíðir - Heyr himna smiður (Icelandic hymn) in train station
Me, too. But great music does that to me, especially if it’s a surprise like that! I love these flash mob scenes. There should be more!
I’m sorry for both of you.
Wow, that place has some amazing acoustics!
This is a favorite flash mob of mine. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_zmwRitYO3w
yep that was pretty good:)
This…is just perfect and makes me want to move to Copenhagen.
I am choked up.
All the links, wow.
