Back to school in the MMP

Dang, Butters… Hope all goes well for you and yours…

Weird night - woke shortly after 3 and took over an hour to fall back to sleep. Then I was dreaming that **FCD **and I were at a restaurant where the service absolutely sucked, so we left, but he went out one door and I used another. Once outside, I couldn’t find him. My phone wasn’t working, and when I went back inside, I still couldn’t find him. Then I was with my sister and she tried to calm me, but the roads were flooding and I couldn’t find my phone. Not very rested when I finally woke. I think it may be a long day.

I checked the weather for Ocala - the forecast isn’t as bad as it was yesterday, altho it’s still not all that great. Predicted winds are lower. I’ll continue to fret till Monday, when it should be north of daughter and inlaws. Stay safe, southerners!!!

Happy Saturday, I guess…

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. YAWN ‘Tis 62 Amurrkin out and clear with a predicted high of 84 and N.O.S. for the day. I shall be headed out in a bit to assist with mowage of the back forty over to the church house. The forecast for Moanday and Tuesday is a lot better today than yestiddy. We’ll get winds but not gusts up to 90 mph. Now TWPTB say 40 to 50 mph winds and several inches of rain. All the stuff out at the cee-mint pond has been stored (chairs and such) and I figure I’ll drag the outside trash can into the garage tomorrow evenin’. Don’t know if we’ll have trash pick up Moanday or not but I would imagine not just as a precaution. Makes sense to me. All area skools are closed at least Moanday and could be Tuesday dependin’ on what happens.

Butters glad you got out with HRH Lucky Louie. Hope Perry and the other folks stayin’ are safe in that house.

OK, I need to get a move on and purtify. Rumbly tummy also wants to be fed but that will likely be a snack from the kitchen at the church house when I get there.

Happy Sattidy Y’all!

Just in case anyone hasn’t been following Butters saga on Facebook, she’s out of Key West and at Scott AFB outside of St. Louis, Missouri along with Lucky Louie. Husband unit stayed behind with their friends and will ride it out in a concrete house that should be more sturdy than most.

Sure butters will be along, but for you morning people…

Afternoon all.

Stay safe everyone with scary weather!

I’ve been doing a last minute check through my course equipment requirements; it’s a bit odd, they were extremely specific in what sort of lab coat I’ll need to have, but it also states that I need to bring my own ‘work gloves’, no further details. That really could mean anything. OK, probably not lacy ones, but, given the course and the rest of the list, it could be anything from welder’s gauntlets to latex. I think I may have to wait and ask 'em. I’m not going to need them for induction week anyway.

Up, caffeinated ,and sheveled. Off today. Going to the OysterFest this afternoon.

**Nut **- if you were inclined to be comedic, plus had access to these items, you could show up the first day with elbow-length stripper gloves, big, puffy ski gloves, and the kind of gloves you can use to groom a pet. Of course, that could get you a reputation you might not want to have.

I’m showered and dressed, the bed has been stripped, and a load of jeans are in the washer. Plus I cleaned the cat box - ick. I’m having a breakfast sammich and **FCD **has gone out in search of some tools that a local guy is selling. He’s going to get there way too early. Unless he gets lost, which he’s been known to do.

My motivation is flagging… probably due to my broken sleep. <yawn>

Oh no, that’s exactly the reputation I want to have

Well then, go for it, girl!!!

My nickname is the name of a car, but it can also be interpreted humorously, as I’m unusually tall.

Hope you stay safe, Butters.

I got some friends in Scotland who could loan you some hockey gloves.

**Midget **- it’s only a happy coincidence that you’re tall, since we haven’t met you IRL.

**FCD **is home with only a few new toys. I have to admire his restraint - but he only bought things he knew he’d use, not stuff he’d like to have. My little sweetie is growing up! (Please don’t tell him I said that!!! )

Stay safe butters!

I had a strange dream before I woke up. I dreamed that there was a doghouse on my patio where Sis’ really old dog, my pup’s aunt and a blind chihuahua named Renfrew lived. I was in the process of bringing them indoors to live when I woke up.

It’s off to do breakfast cleanup before heading out to the Highland festival.

Howdy Y’all! Home from mowage of the back forty. I’ve showered and had a sammich. I’s also tahrd. Nappage shall ensue shortly. 'Tis N.O.S. and mild out so that’s good. Moanday won’t be so much any of those.

Metal Mouse thank you for the update on Butters. I tend to approach Facebook with caution, but I’ll have a look. It sounds like she’s ended up close to where I used to live. I guess they aren’t screwing around with the storm track at this point.

Pepper pup ended up being fairly sick after all, and we ended up visiting the emergency vet. She’s picked up an intestinal infection somewhere. She got a bunch of drugs, and some fluids. Last night she couldn’t even walk, poor thing, but today she’s doing a bit better. I’ve given her the first round of meds and a small meal, which she actually ate. Progress!

Today shall be laundry, and possibly a movie. Happy Sattidy all.

I dusted. And that’s all I’m gonna say about that. AAHHH-CHOOOOO!

And the Great Cosmic Plane appears to be intact.
Good job!

We got coifed and then had majik intartoobz pizza for an early dindin. There’s plenty to nosh on should the need occur. The winds are pickin’ up and it’s gettin’ cloudy out. No rain expected until tomorrow evenin’ accordin’ to TWPTB. We shall see.

Sunny glad Pepper Pup is feelin’ better. {{{Pepper Pup!}}}

Swampy, are you anywhere in the path of Irma?

I finished afghan #3 from **Sunny **yarn - the little bit that remains will become a hat or two. I’ve begun another afghan with AARP yarn. Laundry has been brought in and put away and the bed has fresh linens. Supper is grab whatever, and I just don’t feel like grabbing anything. Maybe some ice cream later.

All in all, a pretty good day. Tomorrow I’ll worry about our Florida fambly.

Poor Pepper Pup! I hope she’s feeling better soonest sunny.

The Highland Festival was fun. It was a very dog friendly place, which I’ll keep in mind for next year when Nelson is better trained.

I had a crock of chicken tortilla soup ready for the beans, lime and corn when I came home. Twas nom!
