Fatty would be peanut butter and honey sandwich or ice cream
Starchy is going to be carrots or squash or saltine crackers
And sweet is going to be ice cream or peanut butter and honey sandwiches or apples or bananas or oranges

Yeah, I have a highly varied diet.

For salty, usually pretzels or Fritos.
When it comes to chocolate, Chocolate ice cream of whatever concoction.
For fatty, is there really anything better than bacon?
My starchy go-to is banana bread.
And for sweet… that one’s tough. Most likely Good & Plenty’s.

*I have developed dietary ‘issues’ probably based upon a quirky reaction to Byetta and that class of drugs. I had a rolling development of nausea reaction to proteins. FIrst, the thought of taking another bite of sausage turned my stomach, then it was ham, then it was pork in any form. Then beef went, leaving me chicken, fish, eggs and tofu. Talked it over with my doc and I went off Byetta, and gradually got my proteins back. Then I went on Victoza and the same thing happened. Cancer happened which really screwed up my ability to eat for a while. Now, post treatment I have to be sort of careful, if I eat something too many days in a row I can trigger a ‘dislike’ episode - so I try to only do each protein-form once or twice a week. Since I menu plan on a spread sheet, it does make it easier on me. I cycle through the protein forms daily [frex mon - beef, tues, pork, wed chicken, thursday lamb friday seafood, saturday tofu sunday vegetarian combos]

  1. Potato chips. If I was less worried about teeth, cashews or salted almonds.
  2. Not a big fan of chocolate, but I’ll occasionally have some Lindt Lindor assorted filled Swiss chocolates. They’re especially popular during holidays like Christmas and they go really well with port.
  3. Not normally a big fan of “fatty”, but I’ll go along with bacon, or well-marbled roast or grilled beef. Also like bread to be well buttered.
  4. Starchy! Ah, there you have me. Anything starchy is wonderful – potatoes of any and all kinds and any mode of preparation, pasta, bread, buns, bagels …
  5. Not a big fan of sweet – mostly vanilla ice cream, and not often

  1. If you want salty, what do you grab?

An anchovy tapa (it comes with olives which, oddly, makes it not only possible to eat the anchovies, but a real treat). Mind you, that’s discarding practicality too, so maybe salt and vinegar crisps/chips.

  1. If you want chocolate?

Green & Black’s 85% cocoa dark chocolate (with a sauternes, natch).

South Asian junk food, eg Bombay Mix

Fresh orange juice.

(IRL fatty is the real problem for me. No pig or sheep allowed these days. But I gather I’m being encouraged to fantasize.)

  1. Plain corn tortilla chips with medium or hot salsa.
  2. Cadbury Mini Eggs - milk chocolate
  3. Royal Dark Cadbury Mini Eggs - These are five times more irresistible to me than regular Mini Eggs because I prefer dark chocolate which better compliments the vanilla-flavored sugar shell.

Fritos for me, too, but chili cheese fritos are my jam. Well, my chips.

See’s chocolate walnut fudge or Trader Joe’s Belgian Chocolate pudding. (oh, no, TJ discontinued the pudding!!! Sign here if you loved it: Petition · Bring back Trader Joe’s Belgian chocolate pudding. · Change.org)
