Glad you made it safe and sound! Looks like you found a nice area to stay in. I’m thinking the “funnest” way for you to get to Tommy’s Joynt on Saturday is take the California Street cable car to where it ends on Van Ness, then walk down (south) about 6 blocks to Geary. You’ll pass a few neat low grade landmarks along the way; off the top of my head I can think of the Hard Rock Cafe (actually upon checking the map, it’s a block north at Sacramento) and the Galaxy theater at Sutter Street, which looks like it’s made of clear Legos.
I just remembered my Motorcycle Safety class meets this weekend and I’ll have to miss the meeting. Bummer, I was looking forward to it.
So, MattK, what have you seen/done so far? (I guess I should really be hoping that you’re having such a good time that you don’t have time for this board and the net…and I am, really, but I’m curious)
Well, if it keeps snowing up on Shasta I actually will be able to make it. So, whatever, I guess I’ll know later this week.

Hey there everybody. I am enjoying the city a lot, have seen most of the touristy things and neighborhoods. I am planning on going to Oakland tomorrow. Hope to fit in Santa Cruz sometime in the next days, too.
