i was in a store some months back, and saw a small bag with various sized knobs in it. they were knobs for the half moon shaped metal prong. like window a/c unit, etc… now can’t think of where i saw them. does anyone know where to buy them? it was either a discount store or hardware.
thanks,
hh
Lowes has things similar to that in an array of thin drawers usually near the nuts & bolts. Whether they in fact have those knobs I can’t say for sure. The stock in those drawers is pretty haphazard.
Any appliance parts store will have those knobs too, although they’ll initially want to sell you the right part for a specific appliance rather than a generic one.
Sounds like a Radio Shack item to me.
Sounds like a band name! to me.
But apparently someone named Rob/Hugo has a bag o’knobs. See http://lists.merlins.org/archives/empeg-general/2001-February/010839.html
And Chris Stephenson is trying to unload one - maybe it’s just the one you were looking for! www.team.net/www/rootes/sunbeam/alpine/mk1-5/archives/1997_01/0248.html
A bag of knobs is good for one thing. A beatin’.
Any good hardware store or home improvement warehouse will have them. Check the “loose part bins” where they sell various sizes of nuts, bolts, washers, etc. individually. Some discount stores carry them, but only you can guess which one in your area.
