Omar is God (sorry, Mr. Clapton).
Good grief. Roberto Hernandez has two blown saves and two saves, with an astronomical ERA.
For this we gave up Johnny Damon? Heck, maybe we should’ve called Mark Davis out of retirement instead…
Chaim Mattis Keller
I’m a Pirates fan. Am I the only one?
By the way, I miss Pops already.
…did anybody notice that the Twins currently have the best record in baseball.
9-2, .818 winning %

Don’t forget about me!
Also, to whomever made the comment about the Bravos 2B taking the Braves to so many championships. Furcal played in some games last season, but I think he is still considered a rookie this year, so how could he lead us to championships?
Are you talking about Chipper Jones, who plays 3B?
Also, Bravos fans, what is up with trading all of our good guys in the recent years? We’ve lost Klesko, Boone, Galaragga, Guillen, and a load of others. Is Shuerholtz (or however you spell it) smoking crack? I want my Klesko and Cat back!
Well, I just want Klesko, but we won’t go there…

Furcal won Rookie of the Year honors in the NL last year, and I am pretty sure he won’t be considered a rookie this year, too. People rave about his poise and his skills in the same manner they raved about those of C. Jones and A. Jones when they came up. And since he’s the leadoff hitter, people look at him as the spark plug of the offense; that is, the one who could “lead” them to championships.
Also, if Scheuerholtz is “trading all of [your] good guys,” please explain how your team has won 10 consecutive division championships. Answer: he hasn’t. He’s traded just enough to keep the team very competitive without giving away anyone.
Finally, you may want Galarraga back, but he’s pretty much done. The man’s almost 40! And Klesko? A late bloomer; who knows, maybe it was better for him to get his big chance outside Atlanta, rather than within it.

Update:
The Twins still have the best record in baseball at 11-3, .786. But now they share it with the Mariners.
Twins payroll - $25 mil, A-Rod - $25 mil, who’s gettin’ the better deal?

Another Twins fan checking in.
Yes, life is good.
The current Twins are eerily reminiscent of the '87 team: homegrown talent and not a bunch of aging free agents or imports.
I was laid off that summer and went to a number of Twins games. Herbie, Bruno, Wrench, Kirby, G-Man, Pags, Gags, Sweet Music, Niekro, Reardon…ahhhh, pleasant memories.
Hm. I was laid off in '91, too.
Uh oh.
