Bachmann is in full damage control, and has appeared on several local TV stations to soften some of the criticism. But the damage may already be done. Ex-MN Trans. Sec. Elwyn Tinklenberg (D) has raised over $700K off the comments (more than he raised in the entire 3rdQ) in just the past two days.

Part of her damage control is to say that her comments are being taken out of context. What context?! The context of a venom spewing, hate mongering, biased cable TV show hosted by assholes? Well perhaps, but they’re still her comments and I’m glad people are seeing her in her true light.

I didn’t like her when she fought a nasty race against Wetterling in the last election, and nothing she has done in the ensuing years has changed that opinion.

Hey, be nice. He was actually a decent Commissioner of Transportation, unlike his successor, Carol Molnau. She’s the one appointed by Pathetic-Excuse-for-a-Governor Pawlenty as a part-time Commissioner of Transportation and part-time Lt. Governor. Good way to show you care. She’s the one who was ousted by the Legislature from the transportation position. Granted, it was a politically motivated action, but so was the appointment.
