My wife has fallen in love with The Garlic Survival Company’s Garlic ‘Q’ Sauce. Problem is that I can’t find it locally (we got the first bottle from a friend who got one of their gift packs, but didn’t like the stuff) and the company’s website makes you order five bottles minimum. So far, my Google-Fu has come up empty-handed for alternate ordering sites.
Anybody know where I can get a bottle of the stuff? SF dopers (where the company is located), anybody willing to buy a bottle or two and ship it to me? Cost, shipping, and reasonable handling paid via PayPal (assuming this request is not against board rules)…
Alternatively, anybody know of a similar tasting sauce that’s more widely available?
Just go ahead and order five bottles of it. It’s only a 14 oz. bottle, which if your BBQ consumption is anything like mine, will last about a month if you’re careful with it. And most bottled BBQ sauces have a shelf life of at least a year or so.
Good grief. That’s more like a two and half year supply for me. One, we don’t BBG that often (once or twice a month) and two, it’s not the only sauce I use (I’m quite fond of Ole Ray’s Apple Cinnamon for pork as an example). While I probably go through 4 bottles a year, it’s not four of the same brand.
It’s also at least partly an annoyance factor. I’ll start shopping around and trying other sauces before I’ll order 5 bottles because they can’t be arsed to deal with the casual griller (or if it really is too much trouble for them to ship it, lining up a couple of decent resellers).
