I’ll miss Rufus.
ETA: do I need to head over to the thread about “Who is the Greatest American Rock Band?” and clarify that the correct answer is Wyld Stallyns??

I’d seen the teaser photo of the two of them in the phone booth a couple of weeks ago. The original is still one of my favorite '80s movies, and I still quote it probably far too often for my own good. I’m looking forward to this!
Aw man, I just realized that in addition to George Carlin/Rufus, wasn’t one of the Eternals (or whatever the heck they are in the movie) played by Clarence Clemons?
::checks imdb::
Yes. Maybe his nephew Jake can sub for him, like he does now in the E Street Band!!
(the other two Three Most Important people? Martha Davis of The Motels and Fee Waybill of the Tubes. Too funny.
Bogus!
This is most non-non-non-heinous.
William Sadler.
Is the dialogue going to be retro (ca. 1980’s) or post-millennial? Too bad for Rufus, who’s gone to that excellent phone booth in the sky, but I wonder if So-Crates or Bona-Partay is still around?
Sweet. I like Alex Winter. Freaked is a great cult flick.
He’s in B&T’s Bogus Journey. I’m talking about the characters I just found out on IMDB are called the Three Most Important people. The ones who cite Wyld Stallyns music as the key to world harmony.
ETA: my god, that was from memory.
And, Jane Wiedlin (of The Go-Gos) as Joan of Arc.
Dude! I went to school with her brother Andy. Jane Wiedlin’s presence was a given!!
Noah’s wife?
Excellent!
(Plays air guitar.)
Will there be any Iron Maiden? (Excellent!!)
If you don’t (and soon) I will. It needs to be said.
Don’t worry, I never name my sources, no matter how much pressure (or Necco Wafers) are applied.
I have 2 of these: one Logan and one Preston; both #69 (of course).
IMO this is very good news; thanks for posting it WordMan!
What station will this be on?
True, but the sequel is way better.
“No…Death…you’re a really great guy.”
:snickers:
They did a marathon of the first two on NYE and I introduced my kid to it. It was love at first “Whoa.” It held up really well, except for a few gay slurs and some minor things. I didn’t like Bogus as much, but as far as sequels go, it’s up there for me. Death was just… it was so bizarre that it worked. I don’t expect this to be Toy Story 3/ROTJ level good for third story of a trilogy, but I’m looking forward to it and the kid is too.
I guess Napoleon screaming MERDE MERDE MERDE MERDE in a bowling alley just transcends generations.
That site has some great jerseys – from Hogwarts to superheroes.
