Bears vs. the Assembled Choir of Heavenly Angels

Who wins?

Or just Ditka vs. the Giants.

Would that be the 12" Mini Ditka or the full size Ditka?

(BTW: Obviously **Big Blue **of course.)

As long as we’re talking Bears, what do you think of a local judge stepping in to halt the Vikings suspensions? It looks like BS to me.

Looks like and smells like it. The Williams Wall needs to fall if the Bears have a prayer at the post season. Most likely though is that the suspensions begin next season and don’t effect the Vi-Queens shot at the NFC north this year.

Agreed. Complete BS. You cheat, “knowingly” or not - you get caught, you pay a price.

Not necessarily.

Arizona, Atlanta, NYG… they’re all fairly tough this year. We can count on Queens being as mediocre as Our Heroes this year, with the added bonus of Tarvaris “You think Rex Grossman is bad, you ain’t seen nothin’ yet!” Jackson at QB.

Yeah. I don’t remember anyone stepping in to halt Jim Miller’s suspension oh so many years ago, and if there’s anyone you could guarantee wasn’t on the juice it was him!

Taking an OTC weight-loss solution with an unlisted ingredient that makes you pee and in absolutely no way improves your performance on the field or helps you win isn’t exactly “cheating” to most people.

I agree in theory, however the NFL’s stance on banned substances and how they absolutely insist that players are fully responsible for what they put in their bodies is a good policy to have and they can’t waiver even slightly due to the slippery slippery slope that turns a guy from a diuretic user one week into Bill Romanowski a week later.

I don’t know what a player can do besides check the ingredients on the label. It’s a bit cute to say “Oh, but you’re RESPONSIBLE” like they have a chem lab in their basement and the ability to break stuff down just in case the ingredients label is inaccurate. Yeah, they could not take anything at all, and I wish they wouldn’t, but I think they have a great chance legally because of the inaccurate product label. It’s only one step removed from suspending players because somebody slips them a steroid mickey (and Bellicheck has probably toyed with the idea…)

Any reasonable jury or judge will see that the players did what they can reasonably be expected to do to stay within the lines of the policy.

“Bairse 52, Assembled Choir of Heavenly Angels 2.”

“52-2, are you kidding me; it’s not going to be that close.”

“That’s the halftime score, my friend.”

Jesus H. Christ this is forum is a huge waste of space.
Do any of you that live in Chicago follow football or any other sport?

I just ask because the Bears had a game tonight, on national TV and it turned out to be a pretty good game.
Yet there was not one single comment about the game, here, in the Chicago >Sports>forum

Weak sauce.

They should ask the team trainer. They do have access to chem labs if needed.

The alleged activity took place over the summer.

So much for da bears.
