I have an update:
Her son is doing well, and up on his feet a bit, able to walk some. His wife is there with him. But it’s probably gonna be at least 3 months before he can relocate.
Beck is healthy, but going nuts at home. No less then 13 extra people are camped out at her place. Others come and go. She’s simply over-wrought. Not to mention the normal level of cat and other daily dramas that swirl around her. She’ll try to get back to the board when things settle down.
She pines for Bigfoot.

Thank you for keeping all of us in touch with daBeck. I’m so thrilled to hear her son is progressing. Been there, doing that from a life-threatening car accident myself. Hoping she is feeling the warm fuzzies from all of us. We’ll all be here when her life restores itself, which better be damn soon or I for one will struggle mightily to get through the winter without her regaling us through these dark days.

i hope settling on the home front happens soon.
Having so many people in the house would drive me bonkers. So glad her son is doing better, but I can’t imagine how stressful all this would be.
So glad to hear that Son of a Wreck is on his feet and able to walk. My heart was in my throat when I heard he’d fractured his neck.
I know she’s overwhelmed right now, but please pass along my best wishes and my hope that she’ll be back telling us about her bad bad bad bad life soon.

Thanks for the update, Sunny Daze. Nice to hear that Son-of-a-Wrek is improving, but I do feel for Beck, as she is dealing with so many people, plus her animals, at home.
