Beer Can E.D. and The Mother Yeast, The MMP

Bookstore.
At least that’s what I remember.

You’re just waiting for me to leave so you can play with the other guys here, right? :dubious:

And yes, as a matter of fact we do have better water here than in NY. Also better bombs  :stuck_out_tongue:

How am I supposed to have fun, if you’re not around?

**Li-li **-- where is the queue for admiring you? 'Cos I want to join it

Haze, it’s no good. You’ll have to wait till I get out of here in order to even have a chance at taming the unruly masses

80 minutes until taxi-time…

Have a good trip, Special1.

Have a fun and safe trip Special1!

Ok, dressed for work. Grey pocket t and blue jeans. I knew y’all would want to know.

Now, behave while I’m gone, children! Don’t throw stuff! Don’t run with scissors! Don’t eat all the candy, cookies and ice cream! Ok, let’s make this simple… if you think of sump’n to do that’s probably bad, DON’T!

Oh and supper’s in the oven. It’s meatloaf. Don’t make that face! It’s good for you!

Later Y’all!

Oh, we’re all in line for admiring Li-Li. Don’t cut ahead. Some people!!

Have a safe trip, Special1!

My word. Thanks, everyone.

Now how can I get money out of this?
Sunspace, I work at a small, independent bookstore, one of a chain of five. In the Beach. Sean got it right. The owner is a very tall, shouting Dutch guy. So much for the anonymity of the internet. And everyone can always use books, right? You’d end up with good books! We haven’t been swallowed up by the Evil Empire of Coles/Chapters/Indigo. And we don’t sell candles and picture frames.

Oooo… books. Must have books…

:: shakes head :: If I had any more books, my apartment would implode.

I cannot comprehend people who can read and choose not to.

Safe journey, Special1!

:: pouts ::

Swampy, I already had meatloaf for lunch.

Okay, I looked at it as it lay there in the company caf, and ordered the lemon-garlic chicken. Darryl (the chef) was experimenting again, and added cheese. Who the heck adds cheese to meatloaf? (Although I had a very good blue-cheese burger a week or so ago.) But the principle is the same!

Okeydokey. The girl moving out of our new place had to delay moving the last few boxes, and will slip the keys under the door this evening. So when I get home from work I’ll start hauling some clothes and things down.

In the meantime I’ve got the food for tomorrow’s lunch bought, and I have scones, homemade jam, and I bought double cream. I’m going to expire in a cholesterol haze. (N.O.H)

Sunspace, there’s no such thing as too many books. The answer is always just to move, tack on an extra room, or get rid of the couch and the bed.

Is it time to go home yet? I’m so freaking done dealing with stupid people today…

Yay! I get to go golf after work! Actually, I’m skipping out a touch early.

eats all the cookies as soon as da bear leaves, throws crumbs at rosie

Holy son of SpiderPig, it’s page 5, and it’s Tuesday!?!?

What are you people, on super-typing drugs or something?

I’m posting a lot because I’m bored as hell. And eating scones with cream and jam. Anyone want one?

It’s 90 something here, and I’m about to quit for the day, go outside and walk behind a lawn mower for 90 minutes. Cream and anything sounds like a bad idea.

Got a cool iced tea?

<hands over an iced tea> Just made some.

Poor poor me - I had to attend a looooong meeting with some visitors from another agency who will be collaborating with us on a project. And they demanded - yes, demanded - that we go to Capt. Billy’s for lunch. And we weren’t going to get to the restaurant till 1, and my quitting time is 2, so I just had to drive myself so I could go straight home afterwards.

I got the scallop basket - yummmmmmmmmm! And I had some really neat conversation with several of the guys from the other agency - especially nice because all of our work is classified so we couldn’t talk shop. Instead, we talked boats and real estate and bridges and Naples and other stuff I can’t remember. It was actually a good way to get to know these guys. Plus there were the scallops - yummmmmmmmmmm!!

Lunch ended a bit after 2, and I got home maybe 10 minutes later than usual, so it all worked out very well. **FCD ** is stopping at the car guys on the way home - he needs brakes. So I may need to go pick him up.

And before I forget and get chastised:
Happpppy BBBirthddday, BBBobbio!!!
So, is it Friday yet?

Almost Wednesday. Almost time for moving. I’ll be incommunicado all day, and Mr. Lissar may have taken the computer apart before I get home, so… I love you guys! See you Thursday!

Make sure you change the locks real soon, like in the next couple of days. It’s a good habit to get into - changing the locks when moving to a new place.

Good luck with the move! (Make sure to leave the “essentials–open me first” box on top. Mark it well. Better yet, take it with you so it doesn’t get lumped in with all the other boxes.)

My forsythia are happy - I dragged the sprinkler out there and gave them several hours of soaking. The leaves have perked up already. If Mother Nature won’t take care of them, I guess I have to.

Still stuffed from lunch, so I had a late lunch dessert - peanut butter chocolate ice cream. Yum.

I’m thinking this will be an early night - I’m really dragging and I need sleep. I see a melatonin in my future. <yawn>

Incidentally, only 6 pieces of pottery have been claimed - if you want one, or two, speak up now!!

Oh, crap, I forgot to email you, Chatty FaeMum. I’ll do that tonight.

I may have a date with a cute British guy this weekend. Keep your fingers crossed for me, and I may tell you the dirty details, post-date.

Good luck with your move, LiLi! Save some boxes for me to unpack.
