OK, so the freebies are all gone. That’s OK, but is there anywhere I could order one or buy one here stateside?
Whoa! So the Korean came through on your computer??
Wait a sec…
Damhna did you post gibberish here, and it just came out as Korean on my comp, or did you post Korean??
On my comp your post came out as Korean text (IE: I can read it in Korean!)…
Now I’m confused… did you see Korean text on your comp, or did you see gibberish (IE: something that looked like “*&##@^^&:”""_!&&%" or something that looked like an actual foreign language, as opposed to random characters…)?
Astro, I see gibberish, so probably he copied and pasted something from your book site, and your smart computer translated since you have the program.
That’s my completely non-technical WAG.
And congratulations!!
Congratulations, Astroboy! I hope the book’s a runaway bestseller, and that with the profits you will be able to buy yourself some pants.
Well now there’s a thing.
I dont have a korean pack installed so I got a series of squares , i copy the sqaures into word and there they were magically turned into ()&^%$&£^£^%&^%(^& .
I really wanted to run with the squares because they looked cool and would be suitably cryptic but I had already openened the reply thread but and I am too lazy to type out my own sqaures is lazy so instead I just lumped the lot in.
What you see has been C+P’ed via the website and via word so there’s no doubt that whilst my unicode is fiercly upset with me the korean was preserved. To me i get a lot of indent markers , A graves , and upsidedown question marks.
Gee, and in six months when the royalty statement comes in, you can buy another tie and become Tommy Three-Ties.
To think . . . millions of Koreans will now be able to open cans of whoop-ass, courtesy of our dynamic duo. Thanks, y’all, for continue the spread of the best of American culture.
That’s wonderful. I’m mauve with jealousy (green is so 1995.)
Cool! I didn’t even know I had that font!
Congratulations Astroboy!
At the moment, no… but I think you can order one from the link above to be delivered to the states if you have someone who reads Korean to help you with it. We still haven’t decided whether to publish in the States…
Astrogirl and I are going out in a little while to visit a bookstore or two so that we might gloat a bit…
