Ben wishes he knew how to quit Jerry

The Ben and Jerry’s store in the Delmar Loop in University City (a suburb of St. Louis) is offering a special milkshake (I rather suspect it isn’t a company wide promotion).

It’s the “Brokeback Milkshake: in loving memory of Heath Ledger”.

They also included the recipe:

Milk (Duh.)
Vanilla Heath Crunch (Get it?)
Chocolate fudge brownie ice cream (Wait, they didn’t really go there, did they?)
(Add a banana for fun) (Yes. Yes they did.)

Cowboy up!

OK, I think I get your post. . . all except for the title. But is that because I didn’t see the movie? Or am I missing something else?

Famous line from the movie: “I wish I knew how to quit you.” That’s all.

That’s a bit tacky. Sounds delicious, though.

Well, that makes sense.

How can something in such bad taste taste so good?
Still laughing!

I bet they really pack the fudge in, too, eh?

But beware of the cream.

They’re going to hell.

A delicious, creamy, smooth, luscious hell, but hell nonetheless.

Yeah, the fudge brownie may have been a little much but it sounds delicious and I think the parties involved with the movie would have had enough of a sense of humor to find it amusing.

Anyone willing to eat the fudge isn’t going to have second thoughts about slurping the cream.

Marc

Please explain, not familiar with the area.

The Loop is rather… artsy.

Delmar Loop.

I assumed that the choice of Delmar was a reference to the name of Heath Ledger’s character, Ennis Del Mar, in Brokeback Mountain.

Huh. I walked by there a week ago and had an ice cream craving, but let it pass because it was cold outside and we were on our way to the Tivoli for a movie then Delmar Lounge to drink. And had just eaten a lot at Cicero’s.

What is a Heath bar anyway? Heard of them, never seen/eaten one.

It’s a crunchy butter toffee with a chocolate coating.

It’s Heaven in a wrapper.
