Ben & Jerry’s Kaberry Kaboom. I’m sorry for the shameless advertising, but I need other people to love this ice cream as much as I do. It’s strawberry ice cream with a blueberry swirl and… CHOCOLATE COVERED POP ROCKS! It’s almost perfect. Granted, the chocolate on the pop rocks is white chocolate, and I hate anemic chocolate, but other then that, it’s perfect.
And I got new sassifrass glasses today. Yeah for new things!
Oh Goddess. Swiddles, just reading that is making me drool.
Of course, it could just be the novocaine wearing off, but I don’t think so. I think I’m going to fake some agony tonight & send my husband out on a quest for that stuff. I have GOT to have it!
Heh. Husband just left to try & score me some of this Ic Cream Of The Gods. I did the puppy eyes, and the “I’m in pain, and ice cream will make me feel better” bit. He didn’t buy it for a second. But he’s going to try & find it anyway. Whatta guy.
Personally, I’ve always loved the hard to find pistachio ice cream from B&J. I’m at some unknown supermarket in Ohio with my girlfriend at some ungodly hour, and…there it is! It just makes everything better.
They make a really big pint of Vanilla. I imagine they might make larger versions of the really popular stuff like Cherry Garcia and New York Super Fudge. It might be a half gallon, I don’t know. Of course, if they did, it would be helluaexpensive. I mean, $3.00 for a pint is pretty standard. So you can imagine how expensive a half-gallon would be.
Growing up in Vermont does a lot of things for a girl. A varied and intense knowledge of the B&J’s menu is one of these things. Yea, that’s it. It’s cause I’m a Vermonter. Sure.
If the made it in half-gallons, I’d end up poisoning myself with Phish Food. It is quite possibly the best ice cream flavor ever. This is not a debatable point (until I get hold of some Kaberry Kaboom, then we’ll talk!).
It’s not especially easy to find Phish Food in my neighborhood, but my favorite deli just started stocking it. I hope nobody else around here realizes that, 'cause I’m going to buy them out.
When I was stationed in Maine I had the extraordinary pleasure of coming across, at a B&J store, peanut butter cookie dough in chocolate fudge ice cream.
Oh. My. God.
Haven’t seen it before or since, but if anyone comes across it email me and I’ll pay for not only the overnight charges but also the dry ice and appropriate packaging
I don’t buy it because of the fat content. 25% in one serving is too much. Might be nice for a special occassion though. never did see their low fat versions.
Doesn’t sound tempting to me—too many flavors to enjoy one.
Give me a really good, high-quality peach, mint or coffee ice cream! No cookies, candy, jujubes or buttons embedded therein, please. OK, maybe nuts or (not and) chocolate chips . . .
