I’m finding myself suddenly working with some folks who still use faxes…
That being said, is there any freeware any of you would recommend that I can use to send faxes from my PC over the internet? I don’t even have a land line anymore, so although my printer can fax, it doesn’t.
Thanks in advance for your help. I did a google search, but I’m hesitant to get on some of those sites and download stuff w/o a good recommendation.
Are you trying to send a fax to a dedicated fax machine?
Not sure what you mean by “dedicated”. I believe that some of these are connected to land line phones. Is that what you were asking?

When I went to Vista on this machine, I lost the fax capability I’d enjoyed. I tried a number of freeware applications, but finally tried FaxMachine free for 30 days. I was happy enough with it after that that I paid $30 for it and it works like a charm.
I see they’ve raised their price ten bucks, but as much as I need it, it would still be worth it.
No one has any comments on drop.io?
