See the poodle jump
through the flaming hoop – too high! –
overachievement burns.
My haikus are lame
Why? I just cannot explain.
For some reason, I can’t get the meter right.
Haiku are easy
What I’m having problems with
Are the limericks
There once was a man from Puru
Whose limerick lines ended in two…

Unsure of syllable(ness)
Counting my fingers.
For a lark last night
He bought his lady a card
Quite the spender, he
Does the word squirrel
have two syllables in it?
If not, no haiku.

Other words are tough
Like orange and nibbler and crayon
Head scratchers for me.
Colloquial-type

Write stupid haikus.

$1.98 sex
There once was a man from Verdun
Oh, haiku.
Five syllables, then

It must be autumn.
This is a Haiku
the third line is meaningful
…
There’s a perfect one
in a books called Gay Haiku
About Mansfield Park
Pennies in a stream
Falling leaves of sycamore
Blackburn wrote this first
I am the undisputed queen of nonsense Haikus.

Fourteen Ninety-Nine.
I lead you holding your leash
Shaped like an ox head
So it comes to pass,
Oh no, she’s a transvestite!

Dark night of the soul
They brought lots of hefty bags.

Laughing In Your Face
Spam emerges from its tin
Making sucking sounds
All gather round please
A Harley between his legs
A male housekeeper.
My hand just fell off!
The story of a keyboard
Bring me ipecac

If you wish, spell it backwards
