Best Names Ever

Following on from Worst Names Ever, what about Best Names?

I think they fall into 3 categories:

  1. Names that sound a lot like a celebrity. For example, **James Ding, Donny DeVito **and Simon Garfinkle.

  2. Over elaborate and baroque names. James Georgr Barty-Barty Goldfinch and Maria Rosa Usa-Navy Hernandez will do nicely here.

  3. Names that just sound cool. Quentin Garside. He sounds like a private eye.

All my names are stolen off a radio show I heard, but I hereby inroduce the arbitary and unfair rule that all further contributions have to be people you have met, talked to or corresponded with. So there.

My friend’s last name is Firehammer. Now that is a rocking last name, no matter what you put in front of it.

We have a VP for research here named Fawaz Ulaby. Love the way that rolls of the tongue.

A friend of mine hangs out with three guys called Seth, Barney and Dylan. Not particularly funny on their own, but as a group it’s a bizarre combination.

Hi Seth. Hi Barney. Hi Dylan. It just sounds like an odd group.
