Best way to contact board moderators or administrators

I apologize if this is the wrong forum for such a question but to my eye it seems the best suited so ill go ahead here. Is there a best way to contact TPTB who are in control of the board software? I emailed an administrator oh about a week or so ago and I’ve yet to hear back. I dont know if there is a more efficient, effective way?

The matter i need to bring to the attention of the AD/MODS isn’t urgent urgent but I would like to handle it in as timely a manner as possible. So if there is a more efficient means of contacting the Dope staff please advise.

The traditional method is to drink a bottle of good scotch, write a note and put it inside the bottle, travel to your nearest sea and deposit the bottle in the water. Then wait. This method has never been known to fail!

There currently is no administrator since the recent passing away of TubaDiva and the current mods have no access to the board software. That’s a different department. Your best bet is probably to send a message to @engineer_comp_geek and he can send your question up the food chain to the appropriate personnel.

As for Mods, for any given forum, our names are listed in the sticky for the forum. As Examples:

One fun subtlety for the peanut gallery: this list is ordered by most recent appearance, idea being, if you need to contact staff, you probably want to contact a staff member who has been around… recently, versus one who was last seen in 2003. So those people are naturally at the top of the list.

You’re the dev here; you can replace our “hamburger” menu icon with a real :hamburger: icon any time you feel like it. Call it “delicious irony”. :wink:

If I was a mod, I would insist on being summoned by a giant bat signal that lights up the night sky. Although I might miss it - as admittedly I only glance at the night sky from time to time.
