Best way to find Airline ticket prices?

In particular, Is there a search engine that lets you in one search check surrounding (or multiple user defined) airports and slightly flexible dates, eg. one day out in each direction?

I find that through expedia or travelocity, the only 2 I’ve looked at so far, I can sort of do one of these things at a time, which means I can sort of build up a database if I sit around and do a methodical, though time-consuming search.

What sites besides travelocity or expedia should I check?

You might try orbitz.com as well. I am not 100% sure if you can combine the location and date flexibility into one query, but its at least another decent source.

Well worth the slight learning curve in terms of flexibility and power. I’ve never, ever been able to beat it.
