So, tomorrow I start the new gig. I’m endin’ my days of leisure with a bang. A load of laundry. Tell me I don’t know how to celebrate!
There is once again hot water. The heater has been replaced so we can have hot water without scalding! Progress!
I see everyone is having a terribly exciting Sunday. Me too. I ran a few errands and am doing laundry. After I post this, I’m going to get my work week organized.
I know how to live, right?
Anyone care to get us started in the a.m.?
No one is signed up for tomorrow.
Hugs all.

Laundry is all dried, folded and put away where it lives until it’s used. Go Me! I have also taken a melatonin so’s I’ll sleepy bye really good in anticipation of tomorrow. The first day at the new gig. What will it hold!
On that note I shall go lie upon the bed and watch me some teevee while the melatonin does it’s thing.
Nitey Nite Y’all!
Nitey-nite,** Swampy. **I hope the first day at your new job is great!
I’ve been tackling chores at leisurely pace all day. Got the kitchen cleaned, have done several loads of laundry, stripped and washed the bedding in my bedroom and in my son’s bedroom, and replaced it again.
I’ve been folding and putting away a ton of laundry. I still have quite a way to go. My daughter’s old bedroom kind of became the laundry folding area since it’s right next to the laundry room. Unfortunately, there were many times that laundry got washed and dried, but basically draped across her bed. The pile all of a sudden grew into a mountain because I cleaned a bunch of stuff out to wash.
Now I’ve run out of room in the dresser and I ran out of hangers. So, tomorrow I shall pick up more hangers on the way home from work. I gave my son a lot of my hangers when he left for college, never stopping to think they were all there for a reason. :smack:
Anyway, huge progress has been made. Except for a few things left to hang up, and trying to decide where to shove my husband’s million pairs of jammies, I’ve just about got it wrapped up. Well, that and mating socks. I hate trying to find the mates for socks.
What we really need is another dresser, but we’ve got more pressing needs at the moment, so that will have to come some other time.
Hubby is warming up the shrimp etouffee that he made last night so I shall soon be dining. In just a little over a couple hours I’ll be settling down to watch Downton Abby. The TV is MINE! ALL MINE! on Sundays.
Don’t tell me ANYTHING about it! I’m waiting until I get a more reliable internet connection (this coming Tuesday!) and I’m going to start watching the second season.
In other news I am so freaking tired of my knee it isn’t even funny. It’s been three weeks now and it’s still swollen. Yes, I am mostly walking without a cane, but I’m so tired of this. I’m waiting another week and if it’s still like this I’m going back to the doctor again. Stupid knee.
If nobody else wants to do the MMP tomorrow I’ll voulenteer.
Worked extra, so no laundry done today.
There were drag queens as entrainment, you think I’d be in drag, maybe?
