It may just be in the stars that I make it… I have recently been told that I may be in London for the second week of March on business. I won’t know for sure for a few weeks yet.
Beerintheevening gives it a pretty dismal rating, but I’m happy to have my views challenged.
I’ve been there and it’s really a decent venue. Part of the low scorings might have been pre-refurb and the fact that it can get quite busy after work at times.
Illuminatiprimus already knows to have me down as a maybe. As usual…

I definitely can’t make the weekend of the 7th (a wedding), but probably can the following weekend.
Facebook hasn’t been needed to successfully organise such events in the past. A Dope thread, a NADS one, the exchange of a few phone numbers if people want to and a bit of bashful “Are you … ?” questioning in the pub have traditionally sufficed.
Not needed, sure, but a convenient tool. However, it was only a suggestion.
I might be able to make the 14th if I can afford it. I should certainly be in the country (for a change) and depending on how things go next week, it may be one of few chances I get to say bye to quite a few of you. If I do come down, I will, as promised in the NADS thread, bring cake, and hopefully rugelach, if I can bribe Eva Luna to make some. (And if I can’t make it, I can always post rugelach!)
