That may be good in a debate, but it doesn’t go well in diplomacy (and government in general), where you need to be willing to make compromises.

And yet, she’s not talking about the big part–the fact that healthcare benefits would be taxed like payroll. As someone who works for the government and gets a crap salary with GREAT benefits, I can’t imagine work being worth it if I get taxed on my benefits. They’re the reason I work, pretty much.

I gotta say, Palin comes off as pretty engaging and confident, just on a superficial level, whereas Biden really looks and sounds like an old, dour crank. The difference is especially noticeable when the respective candidates are standing silent while the other talks.
