I understand the desire to know which is which, but if they are that identical I’m not sure how much difference it makes until they get old enough to know their names. Unless the older one is going to inherit more of the Wrek family fortune and/or a throne somewhere.

Well, The Siamese cats keep lookin’ askance at me. No howling yet.
I woke up in the middle of the night and they were on the headboard looking down at me (that’s not unusual).
I said “Hi, Siamese cats!”
Bear, stuck his paw towards me(in an all too threatening manner, I believe) and hissed at me.
Meeko just walked in one tight circle and snoozed.

I never kissed Dot and Dash.
But, I’ve never kissed Bear and Meeko, either. I like my eye too much.
Expecting an update on Jojo today, sometime.
I’d be asking the pediatrician about making a Sharpie dot in an armpit or something, maybe even a tiny tattoo dot somewhere so you can keep track of medical stuff like have both babies had all their vaccines, which one had Fifth’s disease last month?
Was it Norm McDonald who wanted a tattoo but didn’t like needles so he was going to get a tattoo of a freckle to show he was bad & manly?
When a couple we know had twins, I asked if they were keeping both of them. Some weird looks at first, but then some serious conversation.
They kept both and are regretting it two years later!
And there is the obvious thing I didn’t think of (there is always at least one of those).
She kept the hospital anklets on them a long time.
I wonder what they do for bigger sets of multiples?

I wish I had asked my Daddy about this before he died. He was a twin and his Daddy was as well.
In fact his Dad and his identical twin married a set of identic twin woman.
No body really cares in Arkansas but I have double 2nd cousins.
I like to pretend they’re all weird. Wait …they ARE all weird!
I’m not going to that reunion ever again, I tell you what.

Well, after avoiding a pair of twin cousins all my adult life, I got to talking with one who is retired and discovered we have several things in common, and she’s pretty awesome. So sad that I missed this. Her sister remains less interesting and interested. They were pretty repressed by their father. My mother called them insipid, with cause. But they have blossomed since dad died when they were in their late 30s.
Double first cousins, actuall, since eacyh spouse in marriage A is a sibling of a spouse in marriage B, and they’re only at the second generation from common grandparents. Happened in my family, with my maternal grandfather and his brother marrying sisters (no twins in that case). The offspring of these kids would be second cousins to each other. Spend enough time around people who are into genealogy and you pick this stuff up.
Genetically, they’d be more like full siblings, since the dads are genetically identical, as are the moms.
The boys were full brothers.
The sisters were full sisters.
Different families. I hope. Not seeing any 6 fingered cousins, yet.
Not sibs with each other, at all. The Father of the girls was a fundementally Religious type.
He was very, VERY against the marriages.
I’ve seen copies of his will.
He wrote them out them of it.
They did inherit when their Mom died. My Daddy owned a piece of Land from the old Gent.
